So, due to our virtual learning, I will need to find a way to provide "Oral administration" to several SpEd and ESL kids via google classroom. What software can I use to accomplish this? I am NOT google classroom savvy (or even tech savvy), so the more direct/easy, the better.

All suggestions welcome! Thanks!

Try showme.com for making videos with sound.

Thatís what our math teachers have used for instruction.

If they have a Chromebook, they have access to functions to read aloud anything on the page, and there is also a speech to text option. My SED kids use both of those a lot.

Quicktime

I use Quicktime for both my audio recordings (for read alouds) and video recordings.

For my videos, I've been uploading them to my youtube channel. I have them all "unlisted" so you can't see them or search for them, but if I share the link you can view them. I started doing this, because it's easier for my kids to click on the link to watch the video than to download it first.

I had never done it before this last week, and it really was pretty easy to do.

There's also Screencastify. I have done short videos. It's only 5 minutes per video unless you pay for it. I do my short video, then it uploads to Google Drive, and I put it on Google Classroom the next day.

I used Screencastify yesterday for the first time and loved it! Super easy to get started.
