I decided we should have a "Thanksdemic" dinner tonight. I made a turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and homemade crescent rolls. Delicious

bGracie, I am thankful that our family is healthy at this time, and we haven't killed each other yet.

And, super thankful that our daughter just accepted a job on Monday. That's remarkable, and lovely.

Through a combination of seeing your post last night and only seeing turkey in meat section of the grocery store we will be having a turkey one day next week!

I love your dinner idea. I thought that a Thanksdemic dinner was referring to what we need to do if the pandemic was still active in November. I am glad I was stupid and that you made good use of your turkey.

I cooked a whole chicken in the crockpot.
Water, bay leaves, celery, potatoes, carrots, garlic stuffed inside with lemon, herbs de Provence, salt, pepper.
Cooked on low for about 5 hours and checked temp.
It was so yummy!

Took it out and deboned it and made my own stock.

I love cooking!

That's so funny; I've had several friends post on Facebook about how they had a Thanksgiving dinner during this quarantine! And it's not like they all know each other to have planned it. You all think alike!
