Can anyone point me to a site that would state what these are? Are they the same standards for each state? Thank you so much!

I'm in California, and the state tweaked the standards and adopted the strand model, not the subject specific model.

They are certainly not like any previous science standards you may have had. The proponents state that they are integrated by and across grade levels. I found them difficult because of what feel like holes in background knowledge. Like any standards, what you do in the classroom depends on how your students come to you. With increasing literacy and mathematics needs, I find that the holes seem bigger.
