Do any of you have a way, tricks or songs to teach math fact fluency (addition and subtraction to 18) to my second graders? They are really having a hard time with the timed tests. Our standard is 40 problems in 2 minutes and several of my students are still counting on their fingers.

I swear by this site! I've had great success having students do 5 one minute drills and keep track on a chart. When I taught third grade this was a nightly assignment and my kids rocked at math drills! I gave a weekly homework grade based on the completion of their chart.
