Next year our Title I program will transition from targeted to schoolwide Program. We have so many, many wonderful math manipulatives that we now will be able to share schoolwide. Any suggestions, please, for setting up, organizing and keeping track of borrowed materials?
Thanks,

Debbie Diller's Math Work Stations book is aimed at classroom teachers but may be of help. Perhaps divide the materials by topic (ex. time, money, place value). Then have a clipboard for each area. Then have a check-out sheet for each area with teacher name, and what they took.

This task of mine to set up a teacher user-friendly borrowing system for our math manipulatives can't be as hard as I'm making it out to be. I like the clipboard idea and will seek out the book. Thanks so much.
