DD prayers needed

My two year old has been inexplicably throwing up on and off for a week. She was sick in the middle of the night and the next morning, then seemed better for two days. Ate normally, etc. Threw up again on Friday night, but totally fine the next day. Just threw up again this afternoon. At first we thought it was a reaction to antibiotic she'd been taking, (unrelated--infected finger) stopped that on dr. Recommendation. Doesn't seem like a bug because no one else has been sick, and it keeps coming and going.

She's always had a sensitive stomach, recently (4 months now) she's been off dairy due to suspected allergy. She had been throwing up after eating ice cream, cheese, etc but that stopped until now. I am thinking this may be another food sensitivity. I am going to call the dr in the morning and take her in, but I'm just worried for her. She is miserable when sick (but totally fine afterwards) and I have want to keep what's causing this. Please pray doctor can help is diagnose the problem so we can treat it correctly!

P.s: is there a test the doctor can do to diagnose food allergies? Or is it more just elimination diets?

I wonder if it's acid reflux or IBS? I get extremely nauseous after eating, and almost always want to throw up.

Poor thing! That can't be fun for her or you. I don't know the answers to your questions, but I hope the doctor can give you answers or refer her to a good specialist who can. ((HUGS)) and prayers!

Poor thing and poor you! Yes, an allergist can test for all sorts of allergies. I would ask about that next time you go in!

My DH had a bad cut on his finger, and they gave him an antibiotic. He threw up and had diarrhea for a week. Could it be a side effect of the antibiotic?
You could to an allergist for allergy testing. They will test for food allergies, and plant allergies, but I don't think they test for drug allergies.

The thought of reflux entered my mind too. Prayers abide for her, and for you. Let us know what you find out.

I would write down everything she eats and if she threw up as well. That way you can see if there is a pattern. Vomiting can also be a sign of anaphalaxis. Definitely go see the doctor!
