Our district is moving from Go Math, after many, many years to Envision. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? We have been provided with ZERO PD other.

TIA

I used it years ago. Initially, I didn’t like it for the primary grades. It was repetitious and had minimal practice problems. And fussy…the “workbook” was just a bunch of sheets stapled like Scholastic catalogues……for every single lesson. You had to pull apart 20 leaflets every day. I thought it lacked depth. But, after using it for a few years, I learned where I needed to supplement, what to leave out, and what worked.

The K-2nd teachers (me included) really didn’t like it, but the upper grades did.

Don’t know how much it has changed. In retrospect, it was better than Bridges.
