Ziploc Baggies

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I was at school working on my room when I went to help out another teacher with something. This teacher showed me something that I have never seen before. She put all of her bulletin board items in the big Ziploc Bags and mentioned that she liked to hang them up in her closet. WOW...just when my old bulletin board box was on its last leg! Does anyone else use these for storage in their classroom? My friend says that she uses the XL.

Target, here I come tomorrow!

Ziplocks are on our school supply wish list each year. The kids can store all sorts of things in them when working on projects that way they don't lose the "little" pieces. I also use them to store bulletin board letters in.

I use these as well. They are so convenient becaue they hold your bulletin board stuff flat so you can slide it in a drawer, behind a bookshelf, or wherever you have the space. I also use them for my borders. I roll my borders and but them in a gallon size ziploc, then throw all of my borders in a huge ziploc. Best thing from ziploc yet!

This is what I use and I have two but seems every year its harder to find when you crab everything into it. I didn't even know ziploc made extra large bags....they will be on my shopping list that for sure.
They are not that expensive as when they first came out'

I use those too! They are great for keeping me organized! I don't hang them up though. I just lay them flat on a covered shelf.

around Christmas or right after (and don't care that they have a Christmas design on them, Walmart and some of the other stores mark them down. Just FYI. We've even put large presents in them.

The Dollar Store has their own version of the XL Ziploc bags. I use them and they are just as good as Ziploc for a fraction of the cost!

I'm going to look for these bags at dollar store and target today. But you have me a good ideas. I've been struggles with ideas for book boxes and just decided I'm going to use 2 gallon zip lock bags. They are 13 X 16 inches and quite sturdy. I use them for storage in my classroom and also somethings for sending larger items home with the kids. I get them at Smart and Final. I think they will work for book bags which I think I will keep in a Tub.
