Treasures online edition

I used to be able to access a Florida version of Treasures online without any problem. It worked all through last year. I had been using it with my students in 2nd, 4th, and 1st. Now I seem to need to register and receive an access code. Well, that just gave me a pdf of the units. Big woop! I'm frustrated. Now I have to call Macmillan/McGraw-Hill (Now Glencoe) to see what I need to do.

Anyone else have the same problem? I have a teacher at school that went through the registration process a year or two ago and can access the student text online. Anyone know what gives?

If someone has a way around this I would love to hear it. I didn't have the access code, so I was just stuck. Very disappointing as I know my kids benefitted from being able to hear the stories being read to them.

but I think there must be something wrong with my computer. The same thing happened with your access code as with mine. All that happens is a pdf download box appears and I get a pdf of all the table of contents when I download.

I am going to call and talk to a human.

Your search info did give me a good link. The same thing happened with this link.

I have been in touch with the tech dept at Macmillan/McGraw-Hill. I do believe there is something with my computer making the website access incomplete. I download the pdf, but it is not interactive and does not connect to the internet.

I tried my husband's computer and all was working. I was disappointed to find out that the online student edition does not have the audio that my previous "Florida Treasures" link did. I used that edition for the past 5 years in grades 1, 2, and 4. I will miss it. Back to the audio CDs. Ho hum...

Okay. I'm a little frustrate with McGraw-Hill right about now. I'm just trying to offer the best to the students. Some of my students actually used the site at home to listen to the stories. It was a nice resource to be able to access.

You need to get a code from your district. The same thing happened to me.

I am so frustrated also. I have used the Florida link for several years. It was so nice to project the image on the Smartboard and listen to the story, etc.

I tried to put in the ISBN code but the site didn't recognize it either.
I teach first grade. If anyone can help--thank you!!!

I am having the same problem. I used the Florida version all last year and my kids loved it. I went to the same link I used all last year and now I needed an access code. I gave my ISBN number but all I got was the online book without the audio. Please let me know if anyone finds out what is going on and how to access the online audio version. I am glad I am not the only one who is having this problem.

You need to talk to the person in charge of textbooks at your school. I had to enter new codes to get access again.

Treasures Audible Student Edition
Old 09-18-2012, 06:19 AM

Clip to ScrapBook #13

Hi Mrs. G,

The audible student edition has been a valuable resource to me and my students for many years now. I teach in New Jersey and have been using the Florida book online displayed on my Promethean Board (similar to smart board). Like the other teachers whom have posted, I too have been in contact with Techsupport, my district supervisor, and even the sales rep for the New Jersey area. No one has been able to help me thus far. I teach fourth grade and many of my students do not read on grade level. Therefore, this resource would be extremely beneficial to them. Is there any way that you could please share the code with us? It would be greatly appreciated.
