Time for Kids or Scholastic News?

Which classroom magazine would be better for my 3rd grade students to receive each week? My main goal is to bring in more informational text to read on our classroom. What are the Pros or cons of either? If you've tried both, which do you like better and why?

I have used both, but I prefer Scholastic News. It is more "readable" in my opinion. They also have great CC lesson plans and online resources.

I do like TFK, but I much prefer Scholastic News. I do "Nonfiction Friday" with them, and the kids typically love them.

I have used this for years. Although now I'm thinking maybe it is time for a switch.

I didn't have time to post my reasons before, so I'll add them now and hope you see them.

I like some of the TFK articles very much because it seems like they're really good at selecting topics which will appeal to kids. However, I mostly use the articles to teach reading strategies, and Scholastic News often works better for this for me. I switched to SN because it's what Harvey and Goudvis often use as mentor text in their work with kids (eg, Comprehension Toolkit). I am such a fan of their work that I tried SN and have been very happy with it.
