So far the last few days here in NJ have produced two days of above 80 degree weather, then two days of weather around 34 degrees and last night strong winds that are taking down some tree limbs and early this morning torrential rain, then a snow flurry and next thick fog, I can't imagine what this afternoon will bring.

I know New England just had a bad snow storm. What else are PTs experiencing. Did anyone take our spring from us and are using it themselves?

Yesterday was the coldest recorded temperature in Portland, Maine for April 15th!

Friday was near 60 degrees, since then it has been in the mid 30's to low 30's with rain, freezing rain, and sleet.

We got almost 2 feet of snow this weekend—even the Catholic churches cancelled Sunday masses! I thought I heard the local weatherman say it is the second highest snow total for a single storm since something like 1888.

It is suppose to get into the 50s by Friday, but I am not holding my breath.

We had spring last Thursday and Friday. We totally skipped summer and fall and went straight back into winter. It is 32F with a windchill of 19F. Heading to Florida tomorrow to thaw out. It's supposed to be in the 50s when we return next Sunday. I'll believe it when I see it.

I feel for you dealing with snow. In NE Ohio, it's been RAIN and more RAIN and flooding and tornados. Friday was in the 70s and beautiful, just to tease us!

We have about six inches on the ground; the first inch or so is ice and the rest is snow. And it’s the wet, heavy, dangerous to shovel kind. 😠 Yuck! Knowing that the northern part of the state got TWO FEET of snow makes it hard to complain too much!

2 hour delay due to an inch or more of sleet, now heavy rain and some scary high wind gusts. Southern NH.
So glad next week is break and I am going to Bermuda

at the supermarket the checkout person was a teen who explained that Mother Nature was partying all weekend and was had been doing tequila shots. Yes, she's drunk and hung over. Made sense to me.

FL didn't take it from you, at least not where I live! We are expecting mid 40s tonight, cold for the middle of April. It has also been very stormy here and we've had a few cold nights every week.

We have had snow all of April. Yesterday, the wet, heavy snow slid off the roof onto the deck and is more than half way up the window. It's a pain but I'm certainly thinking of the people having all of the tornado damage.
This weekend we are supposed to have one day with double digits.( +10C)

Swimming

On Saturday, the high was 81. We went lap swimming in the newly opened outdoor pool (heated). It was fabulous. On Monday, when the guys had swim practice at the same pool after school, the temperature was 49, with 15 mph wind. Just awful. Hoping this week gets better soon!

Spring?

What spring? We had three big snow storms in March. The last one left so much snow on the roof that my husband and I had to climb up and shovel it off. Last week, we actually had a high of 40 degrees and we’ve slowly lost our snowbanks. However, I don’t think we have gone longer than a day or two without snow. This picture was taken yesterday evening. We got a quick 2 inches. It melted today but when I got home this evening, more snow was falling. STOP SNOWING!!
