CT scan came back negative (and I started crying) but they found something on my breast thatís concerning (I wonder if itís the one I had the biopsy on 4 years ago) and a cyst on my ovary thatís concerning so I need ultrasounds on BOTH of those. Seriously?

And apparently because I havenít been calling and complaining they assumed I was better. Ummm, no, but what good is complaining going to do? You havenít been able to do anything.

I am sorry you have so much to deal with all at once. Do what you need to do and keep thinking positive thoughts. Let us know how you are doing as you complete these tests.

Well darn! There have been times when I've also wanted a test to turn up something. Preferably something easily treatable.

Clearly there is something wrong or you wouldn't still be having these issues. Now the doctors need to figure out a new plan.

(And I hope the breast and ovary ultrasounds come out well.)

If you have dense breasts, this could be a normal thing. I've had something on the upper/outer aspect of my right breast. Ultrasound proved negative. A cyst on your ovaries will, in most cases, dissolve on it's own, but if not, can become infected and painful. They are treatable and don't always mean bad things. I know this is concerning for you. Good thoughts coming your way. Keep us, and your doctor's office, posted.

That is very upsetting.

Like PP, I had ovarian cysts in the past. I was only aware of them because I was going through fertility treatments and had a lot of pelvic ultrasounds.

I had no idea they cysts were there and they were never painful.

One time they did have to aspirate a cyst as it was interfering with an IUI or IVF cycle, but otherwise the cysts were no big deal.

Also, heads up that true pelvic ultrasounds are intrauterine and involve them putting a condom on the device. I know that freaks some people out at first.

Hope everything works out OK for you.

Oh no, so sorry to hear! You've had a rough summer. The PP's are right that many ovarian cysts just come and go, but others can cause stomach symptoms, which I know you've had. I was in the hospital once with what we thought was a stomach bug, and it ended up being an ovarian cyst, as well as other female issues. Feel free to pm me.

Thinking of you! I hope everything works out, that you find out what's wrong, and that it's not that serious. When is the ultra sound?

Sending positive thoughts that it is not anything serious. I'm sorry that the stomach issues have not resolved and that the test didn't show anything they could easily address.

I am sorry that you didn't get any answers. You have to be feeling very frustrated by now.

I hope that all goes well with your ultrasounds.

Now that you know, keep calling and complaining until you have answers.

You are in my thoughts. I pray that God gives your doctor wisdom in diagnosing and treating your symptoms and that you feel better soon.
