Electric stove recommendations?

I think our Whirlpool may be on its last leg. I have never really liked this stoveó it seems to take forever to preheat and it has a steam clean feature that, to me, ever does a great job. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Don't buy a GE Adora! It takes forever to heat.

I have a 1-year-old GE (not Adora, mid-$-range) which is fine though rarely used. I just timed it for you: it took 10 min 21 sec to heat to 350. Is that too long?

PS Good thing I reread....autocorrect thinks mine is not Adorable.

I have a ceramic top and can't do canning with a pressure cooker on it. We had to buy an outside propane burner so I could pressure can. I would get the old coil top if I bought another stove.
