Has anyone ever toured grand houses of England or Scotland? Where did you go? I'm watching a show on Netflix about Grand houses of Scotland and I want to go! Keep dreaming, Deb!

I went on a tour this summer and saw the mansions in Newport, Rhode Island. They were built by the Vanderbilt family. A must see if your ever in the area.

Located in Asheville, NC, Biltmore is a grand house to visit and closer than Europe. I did visit some in England about 30 years age. They were not as well-maintained as Biltmore is.

I love visiting them and have been to most of the river and walking tours in the Hudson Valley.

I haven't been to Europe since the 80's but did the castles in England and Germany.

Scotland is a beautiful country, and I'd love to go.

Biltmore is also a place I'd love to visit.
