Clip to ScrapBook #1

In my house, we have some Expo markers that are pretty dried up. I saw a video on Facebook where if you tie a string to it and fling the marker over your head for a couple of minutes, it refreshed the marker.

Well, I was bored so I decided to try it out. Well, I got a little carried away and the red marker hit the door frame and exploded. Now my kitchen looks like a crime scene.

DW gets home at 6:00 (it is 4:30 now). Let's see how good my power cleaning skills are

I’m sorry you have to clean up, but thanks for the laugh!

Did you try it with more markers? Did they refresh?

I have had to do this at school and it worked on the walls..didn't have to at home and not under a time crunch! If I am cleaning up something like this and am under pressure I usually make it worse! Good luck and thanks for the laugh!

Oh no! I hope you got it cleaned up easily.

I, too, saw this online & tried it at school. Apparently, I didn't tie it tight enough because the marker was flung across the room as soon as I started swinging it! Lucky it didn't hit one of the kids. Can you imagine that phone call?

"Sorry Mrs. So & So, I was trying to revive a dry erase marker by swinging it over my head and it hit little sweetie. My bad!"

So funny! I saw that video, and I thought someone would eventually lose an eye lol. After your story, I think I'll just pay for new markers.

oh! i saw that video too!!! (i had saved a couple Expos this school year because i wanted to try something else i'd heard--rubbing alcohol???) when i was packing up the last day, i found them buried by my 2nd teacher computer and thought, really? i was actually going to do that? and tossed them. i think i saw the swinging video after that....ha--like i'd put that much effort into it...(but i DO want to try it!)

yes, yes, photos--oh, please!!!
