Party ideas for Level A school??

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I'm going to a new school as an Instructional Coach and I just found out they ranked a Level A for their test scores last year. I'm so proud of them!

What's something creative we could do to surprise the teachers/staff? I'd like to do it on a teacher workday for like an hour, but I'm trying to think of a cute theme.

My old school (same district) did "Nacho Average Teacher" with a nacho bar but I don't want to do the same thing.

I considered 2 things:
1. an ice cream bar, but I can't think of a catchy theme that incorporates the letter A (or something similar) and a small gift for everyone.
2. a general "A" celebration that has everything that starts with the letter A, but I'm not sure I can think of enough foods that would work.

Ideas?!

You can do an cream & ice cream float bar. For Floats, You only need to add 2 liter drinks or can sodas with the ice cream bar ingredients.

You can use the phrase

Phrase: “ I scream, You scream, We Scream for our A Rating. Thanks for keeping us Afloat.”

Gift: Small rubber ducks with a gift tag attached saying “ Thanks for keeping us afloat for an “A” Rating at (insert school name) School.

You can provide various colors of rubber ducks so staff can select one that matches his/her “style” for an individualized touch.

Level A

Sorry - I guess that's a regional thing. Level A is the highest ranking for a school based on test scores. They used to be ranked by numbers with 5 being the highest, but they went to letters a few years ago.

Dr. A - thanks for the ideas!

Just my 2 cents but-if at all possible dont do food. Too often people have special diets, are watching what they eat, have food allergies, believe in veganism ect.

I know its easy and cheap but... I am always left out of food related stuff and it sucks to always be left out with my packed lunch.

I agree with this. I have some major health issues that require me to eat very carefully, and it’s always. A bummer when I can’t get the “reward” because it’s food I can’t eat.

What about some kind of school supply, like dry erase markers or fancy pens, along with a cute saying “Thanks for helping make the mark” (I’m bad at making up sayings but check Pinterest!)
