This was our first year to use a new math series, Addison Wesley, K-6. All elem. students were given the cumulative test at the end of the year, in hopes that this would show me the title I math students for next year. Many of our students tested poorly. Now what do I use for my multiple criteria list, besides MAP test and teacher ref.? Or do I use this test and serve the worst first?

I don't know the test you are referring to, but there are some tests I use points from certain portions of. If that test has a section that focuses on basic computation, for example, the students on grade level may have done well but it will show you the students who may need extra help. See if you can look at it that way and use the points to show you the greatest need.

I've also seen at some grade levels using the end of year report card grade for the subject area.
