Here this week's Looking Forward to/Not looking forward to:

Looking forward to:

-Meeting the new priest at my parish
-Last full week before Thanksgiving
-Field trip that will be calm but fun and be an afternoon off the usual routine!
-Special project we are working on with the students as a grade level
-Event at my church
-Basketball game I want to see
-Going out to eat at my favorite pizza place
-Movies I want to see at the theater

Not looking forward to:

-Snow/cold
-Trying to stay healthy/avoiding getting sick when sickness has been going around my classroom
-Thanksgiving is still a week and half away...I keep thinking it should be this week since it's so late!
-Grading projects (time consuming!)
-Getting absent students caught up
-Anniversary of my grandpa's death next weekend

*last week before Thanksgiving break
*CT scan for this messed up knee replacement/one more step forward towards being normal again
*Cooler days
*Spending time with my students

Not looking forward:
*dragging my bum leg around every where I go
*mowing my lawn
*grocery shopping

Yay!:
-final walkthrough of the new house
-our huge community feast our school does. The food is soooo good!!
-only 5 days of school before a week off!
-going to the thanksgiving feast at my kids’ school.

Boo!:
-5 days with crazy kids
-hearing the excuses from home builder

1st appointment at hearing aid place
workout sessions and yoga
watching The Crown (still catching up—on Season 1)

Not looking forward to:
taking car for checkup

Party at a friends home next week
Grandsons birthday bash
Finishing getting rid of leaves

Dermatologist appointment

Looking forward to:
-it's my birthday on Tuesday--the 6 word.
-Boy is coming over to make birthday dinner on Thursday
-subbing in my friend's class on Wednesday afternoon
-massage on Thursday
-Book Club on Friday
-dinner party on Saturday


Not looking forward to:
-teaching my after school art class on Tuesday

Looking forward to:
only two days of work and then I'm off for Thanksgiving break!
having lunch with a friend that's back in town for the holiday
hopefully a walk or two on the beach
taking my kids to see Ford vs. Ferrari tomorrow
Season 3 of The Crown


Not looking forward to:
parent conferences
taking my car in for a check-up
making appts for bloodwork and a mammogram

dgd swimming for her teacher . She loves her lessons and I love watching her.

craft meetup where I will learn something besides teaching


Not looking forward to:


a trip with seven people in the car. I must reorganize that trip.

Looking forward to:

A full week of cooler weather, which began yesterday
Dinner out with my retired teacher friends Tuesday
Calling my brother tomorrow night (its been awhile)
Bicycling each day
Dinner out with family tomorrow night
Walking on the beach tomorrow afternoon with DH (we do it often in the summer but so seldom when its cool)

Not looking forward to:

Getting up early each AM
Parent conference week
Rehearsing for our school Christmas program
Working out at the gym
Returning to school late Thursday to plan with other PK teacher

Looking forward to:

- Possibly getting a new job (depending on there recent thing I posted about)
- Thanksgiving Break!!!
- Decorating for Christmas with my family
- a mini road trip to another interview over thanksgiving week in another district
- Another possible road trip this Friday


Not looking forward to:

- Need to call HR this week to try and throw away something I wrongly signed, but I know I'm going to be on hold for FOREVER
- cleaning the house (though I'll enjoy it when its done)
- having a whole week off to stress about the job situation. I DON'T do well with idol time, even though I do enjoy sleeping in and having the work break.
