My dd is in her room at college. She has ants crawling out of a hole in her bathroom floor. Her and roommate put apple cider vinegar and that helped for an hour. But they're coming out again.. HELP PLEASE!

Peppermint oil or dish soap. Also, try duct tape over the hole to block it.

I use Grant's ant bait. At first, the ants go crazy over the bait so more ants. Be patient. Once the bait gets to the colony, no more ants.

I know this sounds weird, but I've used plain baby powder with great success. I look to see where the ants are coming from, and sprinkle a fair amount right on the hole or crack. It works almost immediately. I just did this a week ago when I saw a bunch of ants in my bathroom. I like it because it's basically non-toxic, and after the ants are gone, I can just vacuum the powder right up.

Is she in a dorm? They are responsible for anything pertaining to pest control, I would call them.

If not a dorm or apartment.... or I would use Terro baits.
