Does anyone have any good stuff to help Grade 3 students prepare for the Provincial Achievement Tests?

I would recommend the grade 3 E.Q.A.O Test Preparation books for language and math. The math is all strands and asks for pictures, numbers or words. You will like it. The language has reading and writing so they will get a variety of opportunities.
I hope this helps!

It has short, ten question quizzes in all subjects and longer 25 question test that I use for the math and reading preparation. I used to use superteacher worksheets before they began to charge 19.99 for a year's subscription. They have a number of reading and poetry selections with multiple choice questions that are good. The US does an enormous amount of testing in each of its states and I have picked up several books on my travels that have reproducible reading selections with multiple choice comprehension questions. You could check with amazon.ca for such books.
Math is the most difficult subject to prep for as the curriculum is still fairly new and there is only one released test online with Alberta Ed. I'm not sure what math program you are using but math focus has online questions pertaining to each math strand that are very good. The Alberta Ed teacher's guide for math was invaluable for test prep last year. The link is: http://www.education.alberta.ca/medi...ers%20book.pdf
I also use Math Profile by Tanya Braybrook bi-weekly starting in September. It is an invaluable assessment tool!
Check out all the provinces for their online downloads for released test questions. I have found some great math resources from Saskatchewan as well as the previously mentioned EQAO from Ontario.
Old Alberta PATs are the best to use if you can get your hands on them!

Thanks everyone!
I met with a former colleague who gave me a math EQAO Preparation book. I went to Chapters and the lady working there suggested a few resources. Here is what I picked up:
Alberta Testing Practice Grade 3 English (Popular Book Company Ltd.)
Alberta Testing Practice Grade 3 Math (Popular Book Company Ltd.)
Math 3 The Key Study Guide 2012 Alberta Edition

I also went onto the Alberta Government website and found the old tests.

Thanks again and good luck!
