You never know when you're going to leave an impression with a child. A parent just texted me that to combat the back to school germs and a cold that had settled upon her son she was making soup. He insisted upon harvesting a stone from the dry creek bed in the yard so it would be just like the Stone Soup we made last year when he was in my class. I love that story and that boy. Who could I share this with but my proteacher mates. May you be so blessed.

You bet it did. I've had this family for two sessions of looping. Both brothers and their momma will remain in my heart.
