My day is a fail

Nothing but sipping iced tea, pinning things, and watching Lifetime movies. Someone save me!

Seriously, ZERO productivity. You?

You have succeeded in achieving total relaxation. Teachers work so hard, enjoy your vacation.

I lounged around in my robe and drank coffee until 11:30am, then went to the movies to see The Secret Life of Pets.

Productivity:
1. Washed a load of clothes.
2. Took the dishes out of the dishwasher
3. Marinated chicken for dinner.

Not one of my better days, but it was fun.

I cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom, loaded and unloaded the dishwasher, washed the floors, went grocery shopping and now I am watching NCIS. I was going to go for a walk but it is too hot and humid out. I will probably do some yoga instead.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that!!
(And isn't it a bit sad that we teachers feel like we can't just totally relax and do nothing without feeling a bit guilty??!!)

Without days like that, we'd not have the energy and concentration for the jam-packed days.

for a bit and got enough new potatoes for supper. Of course I went out about 20 minutes before a downpour. Emptied the dishwasher and cleaned the kitchen up. I think I am still in after school slug mode.

I waited around at the doctors office for almost an hour for my Depo shot for them to say "oh we forgot to tell you last time that you need to schedule a physical". So no shot. I rewarded my patience by going to Ross and Marshalls.

You totally deserve it! I taught summer school and then went to the gyno and that was the extent of my productivity today. I figure after doing that, I deserve to be lazy .

Sounds like a day in which you took care of you. I read a bit out of a real book, worked on my year plan, met my dd for some shopping and arguing and came home and cooked. I had a productive day as well
