I wrote about my biopsies all coming back benign. Now they tell me something I've never heard before. The area around the lump on the right side and is more prone to be cancerous. It's called something with 3 words, and I just can't remember.

So, depending on your words of choice, I'm scheduled for a lumpectomy, exisional biopsy, etc. That's in November.

But before that they want to check for possible bone cancer. I'm scheduled for a bone scan, also in November.

I have made progress in some health areas, but I'm also discouraged that other things keep popping up.

Did I cause this downward spiral? What did I do wrong? How am I supposed to fix it?

You continue to have your check ups and screenings on time. You listen carefully to your doctors. And when you want a second opinion you get one. You get the treatments you deem appropriate after discussing them with your doctor.

Our trials in life often last longer that we wish they would. For that I am sorry. But keep taking care of yourself. Follow the treatment plan. And when you are not being treated or seeing a doctor seek out joy and live your life well. I wish you the best possible outcome.

Keep us informed about how your lumpectomy and bone scan go. Sending you hugs and prayers. (((())))

Calm thoughts and deep breaths is what you need right now. No,you did not cause this situation. Your docs are just being thorough. ((Hideeho)) I have had lumpectomies and never regretted doing so because ultrasounds and mammograms are guesswork at best. Checking for problems in the bones is double checking for reasons why you are suffering pain . There are many reasons for that. Sleep well Hideeho. You are courageous and can get through this !

No, you didn't cause that! I am sorry for all this news and the upcoming procedures. The lump sounds like pre-cancer. When I had BC on the left I had a PC on the right so they did two lumpectomies the day of surgery. Once they remove it you shouldn't have any higher risk of BC than anyone else. I hope the bone scan goes well! You have my prayers!

I hope things work out well for you.

I recently heard about an app called Abridge. It's FREE! You can record conversations with your doctor. Then the app does some transcribing and notes key words. It might be very helpful to you. At least you would know names for your condition.

If your doctor uses a health care portal, there should be some basic notes online for the appointment you just had.

Just seeing this now, my friend. I am so sorry you are dealing with this, you must be so frightened. Praying that the procedure in November takes care of the cells, and your bone scan comes back negative.
