Well that turned out better than expected...

I was out last week when someone rear-ended me. He slid right into me, as I live in North Florida and it has been raining nonstop here the last few days. No one was hurt, but the airbags did go off.

I knew when the airbags went off my car was going to be totaled, one if my neighbors works at a body shop and they told me 9 times out of 10 insurance companies will total a car if the airbags go off because it's at least $10,000 just to replace the airbags, not to mention the $10,000 in bodywork to my trunk. And sadly me 2011 Honda Crosstour is not worth $20,000.

So the insurance called me today and totaled my car and a check for $11,000 is in the mail. What I didn't tell the insurance company, I was on my way to the Ford dealership to trade in my Crosstour when I was smashed into. So instead of the $7-8,000 I was expecting to get as a trade-in, I get $11,000 to put toward my downpayment.

So now I'm cruising around in a vehicle I said I would NEVER buy: a Ford F-150 with a 2-inch factory lift . Living in the country down a dirt road sure does change people .

I loved my F-150! I drove it for 11 years. Now DH has it, and he loves it, too,

Enjoy!
