anyone still wear makeup?????

Before I retired this year I applied make up to zoom with my kids because I was really self conscious how old I looked on video. I also wore presentable outfits. The younger teachers looked so "fresh or alive " without make up in their day jammies . Now I wear makeup 1-2 days per week and that is becoming more and more scarce.

Most likely I will be volunteering on line with reading groups when school starts and I don't want to frighten the students when I help them so I guess I will have to pull up my boot straps and get ready for school?

Nope. I only put it on if going out to eat or something like that pre Covid. Now I can't remember the last time I put any on!

Unless Blistex and sunscreen count, the only time Iíve ever worn makeup is when DD got married. Too much hippie left in me for makeup.

Luvtulearn, I also wore makeup only on "Zoom days", 2-4 days a week. Once I tried the enhance your apperance option on Zoom when I didn't have makeup on, and the before and after image looked exactly the same! At home I don't bother with makeup at all. Sometimes if I go out I wear eye makeup. But foundation and lipstick get the inside of my mask dirty.

I've never worn makeup and don't plan to start now. I do wear moisturizer and sunscreen, a necessity here in SoCal.

Now I wonder if there is a makeup feature on Zoom that can enhance one's appearance like I've seen done with some photos. Oops, I see Teapro already answered that question!

even when I was working. Then had to give up mascara as it stung when my eyes watered from allergies. Then I retired and just stopped wearing it daily. But I wear sun screen moisturizer daily.

I have not worn make up since high school, except for my wedding and my kid's weddings. Like Amiga, I am a retired hippy.

A lot depends on when I shower in the day. If it is before noon, I put on make up. If it is later than that I usually don’t. My “make up” is very sparse, though. Tinted moisturizer/sunscreen, some under eye concealer, a touch of liner on my lower lids, and mascara. I also use whitening eye drops

I only wear makeup if I'm Zooming or we have guests on our patio. In my previous life, I wore makeup daily and would never go out in public without my "war paint". Now, I pick up curbside groceries and chat with neighbors without makeup and celebrate the fact that they don't go running. It turns out that folks have pretty strong constitutions.

Makeup makes me itch so I gladly gave it up. Even the so called hypoallergenic kinds just made me itch. I do like lipstick though.

I wear it if I am going out to do an errand or curbside. Otherwise I just wash and moisturize if I am home. I am out in the garden/outside a lot and donít think my plants, the birds, or my pets care.

I wear tinted moisturizer that has sunscreen. I have learned to paint my toenails so they don't look like my 4 year old granddaughter did them. I just threw away most of my Bare Minerals makeup that I wore when I was teaching. I live in a resort area where only the tourists get dressed up to go out. ( Which I don't do at the moment)

This is the first time in my adult life that I don't wear make-up. At 74 I just use moisturizer and lip stuff. Also my hair is growing quite long. I don't want to risk going to get it cut. So I have a cute little ponytail and bought lots of colorful scrunchies on line. I also wear sundresses every day and no bra. It's so comfortable in our 90 degree heat! I did give in and colored my hair with L'Oreal and decided to just go very blonde. What the heck.

We have been home since March. I keep a diary so I'll remember what I did every day. I miss subbing and volunteering very much but do not plan to return in August. I did answer Kelly's questionnaire and said I would do Virtual subbing - how would that work?

I make masks and got a new sewing machine (online shopping is amazing) and I make Dresses for little girls around the world that I send off to Hope for Women international when I have a few finished.

My husband and I walk every morning as early as we can because it is so HOT here in Tampa.
I try to clean something in my townhouse every day and I watch a lot of TV while knitting - blankets and also Bears for another charity that send them across the world.

We get food delivered by Walmart which is amazingly good and also sometimes from Amazon Whole Foods. Some days I wake up depressed but we are planning to drive to Canada in September hoping they let us old Canadian citizens across the border.

broad you are sure making the most of the pandemic. I too am planning on volunteering virtually however I'm sure we will need to sign an AUP, go through all the mandates, and hope whatever platform the school decides to use will be compatible to our computer. I used zoom last year and am partial to that. Canada sounds like it would be super fun!

The best make up you can wear is a smile.
