1. I taught for 37 years.

2. I have been retired for one year.

3. The first year I was in a resource room. The next 18 were in a private residential school for students with severe disabilities. The next 4 were as an itinerant teacher for students with physical disabilities. The last 14 were in a public school self-contained classroom for students with moderate to severe disabilities.

4. I enjoyed the last 14 in the self-contained classroom the most.

5. I was in at least 8 schools when I was itinerant, so that would be a total of 10 schools. I also did home bound services.

6. No children at home. My son moved out a little over 2 years ago.

7. No grandchildren.

8. I have an 8 1/2 year,old Yorkshire terrier and a 16 year old tabby/Siamese mix cat.

9. I was born in Wisconsin.

10. Including college dorms and apartments, I have lived in 14 different homes.

11. One state and one country.

I taught for 29 years.

This is my 4th year of retirement. (Said by a very happy person! )

I taught 1st and 2nd.

I LOVED teaching 1st grade.

I taught in 3 different schools the first was an old small school that I was at for 8 years. Then I moved to open a new school then I moved to another new school to open it!

I still have 1 son living at home. He's 22.

No grandchildren yet.

I have an adorable 11 year old Maltese.

I was born in NJ.

I have lived in 7 homes including college and pre-married life. We've lived in 2 houses since being married in 1982.

I've lived in 2 states. NJ for most of my life and PA for college.

This was fun. Thanks for starting it Nancy!!

I taught 35 years, also worked two years as an aide before teaching.

Retired four years as of June. Love being retired!

I taught bilingual second, third, and fifth grades for 17 years, then high school English and ESL/ELD for 18 years.

I enjoyed both elementary and HS for different reasons.

I taught in two elementary schools and one high school, all in the same district.

No children or grandchildren.

I have one black cat, adopted from the HS where I worked, and one dog, a female Doberman whom I show in AKC events.

I was born in NY state.

I once counted all the places I could remember living, and stopped at 25. I was twenty years old at the time. My mother was restless, and we (mom, brother, and I) were always moving in a search for better opportunities or cheaper rent.

Two states, NY and CA. Three countries, the US, Mexico, and Spain.
