So my school is undergoing a renovation this summer. So on top of teaching, getting grades done, and just typical end of year craziness, we have to have our rooms completely packed up by the last day of school. On top of that Iím changing grade levels. Needless to say, Iím a little stressed. Only 12 more days.

I hear you! I have to clean out my entire room and move to a different position where I won't need most of what I have. It definitely increases the pressure of the end of the year.

Itís horrific. Early in my career, I got switched from K to 1st in October. I had to go to a different classroom. We were moving to a new building.

I had to pack up TWO class rooms. And, I was going back to kinder at the new school. There wasnít enough Calgon or Exedrin that year.

I am resigning and taking a new position in a different school system. It's also a new grade. My room is a mess. I have so many papers I still need to grade. I'm stressed, too. However, having been in this position before, I always remind myself that it will get done. Seriously. It will. It seems stressful, but it will get done. It will....and then summer will be here and you can enjoy.

You will make it! It is amazing how much you can do. My sister came one year to help me pack up the room. Maybe a friend can lend a hand. Summer is just around the corner!

We moved into a new building a few years ago. It's insanely busy, but you can do it! Hang in there!

I feel your pain too! I remember the year we renovated and it was crazy.
I'm in Kahlua's situation too----I'm moving to a new building and I won't need just about anything I have now....right now I'm teaching fifth grade reading and next year I'll be teaching sixth grade science. Goodbye classroom library!! (Well not really....but I'll need to get it into boxes and stored somewhere.)
