Oh my goodness, tell me to stop applying. Theres a district in St. Louis that Id love to work in. I apply constantly and nothing.

Youd think Id get the hint. Clearly theyre not interested. Please tell me to stop applying.

I'm not going to tell you that because I believe there is a time when you will be hired. Keep applying.

I agree with Klarabelle- if you stop applying, you might miss the perfect position meant for you. Keep on keeping on.

I am so sorry. But I refuse to tell you to stop applying. If you stop, there's no chance.

If you don't apply, you have no chance at all. Your place is out there, the perfect place for you. Keep applying!

My daughter applied to the district she is in several times before getting an interview. I was an hourly employee in my district many years ago. I had a couple of interviews and was passed by without an interview a couple of times. Glad I didn't get the other jobs. I ended up in the right one.

Good luck!

Don't forget that even...

...for experienced teachers, it's common to not hear anything back until May, June, or July due to:

enrollment numbers
district restructuring
sudden teacher/administrative decisions
spousal job transfers
in-district transfers/promotions
family emergencies
lack of certification in areas the schools need (or sudden need for specific certification)
nepotism getting friends/family hired first
grant money allowing for new hires
tentative positions that disappear then reappear or change based on need

It wasn't uncommon for me to apply in February and hear back in May in the past. Heck, this week, I just got a call from a school I possibly put in an app for in January! I have found that principal needs sometimes just "click" with your application for whatever reason. Don't give up!~
