I am so done with my class. Today they were so extra needy. By 10:00 4 had already asked to go to the nurse, two needed bandaids and one got elbowed in the arm and was crying. This is 4th grade! My super ADH kids have either outgrown their dose or are not taking their meds. One I told her grandma (guardian) that she has been very disruptive and grandma said, “Well, I am sure she is doing the best she can.” NO she is not! So no help from home. My other one wants to tell me stories all the time! I tell him no and to sit down, but he is back at it in a few minutes. I am exhausted! 12 more days! I can’t wait!!!!!!

I have 17 days and I feel your pain. If I could leave today I would.

desperate for my son to make it to the state golf tournament, mostly for him but also because I can go with him and it would give me two and a half days away from this circus.

Yep yep yep. Today was a good day because only one had a melt down, but that was before school so I didn't have to deal. No one ran to hide in the cubbies, no one threw their white board, no one kicked their chair or desk, no one screamed at their classmates, no one cried! Normally that all happens every day.

We still have over five weeks left and they are really starting to be done. We don't even start testing until next week. Yesterday one of my kids who blows got and cold had a pretty rough morning nd then wrote a letter about how much she hates me all over her math paper. That was fun.

Ps, our nurse gives us Band-Aids to keep in the room to cut down on some of those frequent flyers.

I have a plastic cup with bandaids from our nurse, but the ones that needed them made such a fuss it disrupted teaching. Normally they just quietly get up and get one. It is like they have turned into Kinders!
