This is fantastic! You can draw on, label, write on it, add to, etc. these maps which makes them perfect for using on a Smartboard as well! Just select which map you want (World, North American, South American, etc.) and/or the country, then do your stuff on it. If you do it together as a class, you can even turn your marked-up map into a PDF, then print the map and let students bring it home.

You OWE me an hour. And I know I'll go back to that site so you'll owe me even more.

That is so much fun. Can't wait to share it.

I'm wondering about printing out maps for student use. How well it would print in black and white. But for overheads, document cameras, etc., awesome.

Thank you very much.

ajmm !

I created a map to go with our unit on Indians this evening. I used the "free form" draw feature to section off the 8 main groupings in North America, then used the "Add text" feature to label those groupings. I then printed them up in poster size (4 sheets of paper) and put it together! It printed out nicely, even the stuff I added to the map. I just love that site!! I mainly like how we can alter/add to the map and then print THAT up. Awesomeness!!
