Document camera help

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am going to purchase a document camera and I need to know what brand is best for the classroom. I want to use it to enhance science experiments as well as use with all subjects. Does it need to have a camera or maybe a magnifying glass? Tell me what you think.

I got an IPEVO Point 2 View USB Camera for my room and love it. For science, though, you might need/want a slightly better model. I don't need mine to focus terribly close in, so check out their other models. It is inexpensive and very easy to use. Good luck!

Aver Media has some AWESOME doc cams! I have a gooseneck, which allows more flexibility.

My husband taught science for some years and got an attachment to act as a microscope or it attaches to a microscope or something like that.

Browse the internet, but definitely look into Avermedia. We've had NO problems with them, and are more affordable than ELMOs.

I have an Elmo. It does require a large table but it does have a good zoom and it can connect to a microscope (never used it but the AP Bio teacher at my school does).
