My adult son has been busy remodeling our master bathroom. As a child he constantly asked me about why he had to take math classes. Of course I always told him that math is very useful as an adult. While in the middle of doing wooden countertops and floor tile ds told me several times how much math he has had to use and how it is slowing him down I secretly patted myself on the back.

Today I enjoyed the peace and quiet of non construction in my home as ds is taking a break from fixing up the bathroom and gone home. I had NPR on my stereo and happened to listen to an interview with Eddie Woo,a Math teacher. I highly recommend listening to him. It was so perfect I began thinking about how useful Eddie's speeches would be in a math class. Are you Math lover ?

Eddie Woo is amazing. I feel so inspired to work in the same educational system as he does- NSW Dept of education.

Check out his YouTube channels too.
