I just ordered online flowers on Saturday and payed extra for same day delivery. A few hours later I received an email stating the arrangement I chose was not available would I accept an equal value, similar option. Agreed to this. A few hours later received another email that that arrangement could not be delivered on Saturday but would be delivered Monday. Disappointed but yes Monday. Got confirmation Tuesday that it had been delivered Tuesday.

This is the second time this has happened.

I will be googling floral shops in the city I need. Calling directly and and placing my order.

After having some disappointments with an online service (carnations substituted for the more expensive flowers that I paid for) I now just call a florist in the area and place an order. I've been very happy with those results.

I recently ordered flowers for a friend in Topeka. I went on line and found florists in Topeka, looked at reviews and stars, and ordered from a local florist.

It worked just great.

Good luck!

I have had great results by finding a local florist in the sending location with an online ordering system and ordering from their website.

Iím just going to reiterate what others have said. I always look up a local florist and call them. My mom is a florist and says that is the way to go, too.

Always call a local florist

When you order online, the online company takes a percentage of what you pay. Almost all online companies go through local florists anyway. So when you order $50 of flowers ó the online company keeps $10 and the local florist gets $40. The local florist is going to make a$40 bouquet because that is the $ they get . If you had ordered directly your $50 would have gotten you a bigger bouquet.

I love thebouq.com. The flowers always look exactly like theyíre pictured, and they are very upfront about the price.

I always have had success with proflowers. We also have googled florists in the city we want the delivery to be from and gotten flowers delivered successfully from there. Haven't done it in a long time, but the florists used Teleflora or FTD and I had no problems.
