and I wouldnt normally be but my PMS makes it so. My mother got knocked down by her dog and broke her pelvis on Sunday night. My father is doing day duty and Ive been going over after work. He also has to take care of the dog. My car decided not to start after work today.I got it to start and called my mother to let her know I couldnt come, yada yada yada. I was panicked so she got some info not all. The problem is I was WAY over due for my oil change and thought that was the reason. So I ran over to get that done. (I ran my first car into the ground by not putting oil in it-yes I KNOW!!) When I got there I called the mechanic for tomorrow. Then called my father telling him I would need him to come jump me in the morning in order to get to the dealership to get the car taken care of.

It went back and forth with him, me and my mother. Since I couldnt go she wanted him to go back to the hospital. Hes frustrated and exhausted. Shes mad because he called back and told her no so shes all alone. Im the s(^*head for messing everything up and pissing everyone off. Then the guilt comes on. Then the tears. Thank you PMS you suck.

It feels better getting it out so that helps. No to eat and go hide in bed.

I'm so sorry. You must be so worried about your mom. I'm sure the start of a new school year doesn't help. Sometimes you just have to be like Scarlett O'Hara and hold on to the thought "Tomorrow is another day." It may not feel like it now but you will work it will get better.

Did I read that correctly?
Your Mom is still in the hospital and is in a snit because there isn't a family member sitting in a chair beside her bed right now?

Your day didn't go as planned and everyone had to move on to "Plan B".
The hospital has staff to take care of her needs right now.
She will need you and your Dad more when she comes home.
Let her tantrum alone.
Do not feel guilty.

I agree with Peaches....your Mom is going to be fine without your visit tonight. Sounds to me like you need a big hug and a quiet night to yourself. Chocolate helps, too. Hope the car mechanic fixes the problem and your life can get back to normal and your Mom heals quickly.

of all, prayers for your mother’s healing. You have a lot going on right now. All you can do is try to take care of one problem at a time. Don’t beat yourself up because you are doing the best you can to help your mother and dad. You have to give yourself a break. It will get better.

As another poster mentioned- Do not feel guilty! You are trying to help them!

Glad to see that this morning better!!!

I don't know how old your mom is, but why does she need someone with her overnight? I did not leave my child overnight, but adults in our family have been left at all ages.

Hope the car issue is just a new battery is needed! Easy fix!
