Adorable! I wonder what she used for the cap - and how to get that ribbed look on the yellow paper without buying a brayer (not sure if that is the right word for the tool I'm thinking of). It would be a cute back to school gift for teachers with a cute saying!

That would make a great little gift for back to school night to give the students...I don't have a crimper and I would not enjoy scoring all of those papers. I am trying to think of a way to cheat on that!

And maybe attach a little poem? I would love to do that for our "meet & greet" the evening before school starts. Or even for all the teachers as a welcome back.

I too don't have a crimper and do not want to score 19+ pieces of paper.... Any suggestions?

I think you could do plain paper, or maybe decorative paper, it would hold the same concept. If any of you own a paper trimmer, scoring blades are cheap to... thats what I use for mine and I can do about 3-4 papers at a time. I will go out and get some rolos too see what they look like unscored and then post a picture!

These are really cute! Last year I made the mini clipboards for my team- I'm thinking of making these this year- although Tonya's pencil boxes are cute too! Decisions, decisions

Tell me more! I'd love to make some fun giveaways for students and staff. How did you make the clipboards? Any other ideas?

Thanks!

mini clipboards

These were last summer's big craft! If you type in mini clipboards in the search box, you can find the directions. Basically they are for post it note pads. I used cardboard coasters and covered them with cute scrapbook paper then coated them with mod-podge and once they were dry sprayed them with sealer/varnish stuff. I decorated binder clips to hold the post it pads.
