Anyone use Lush products? Any recommendations?

Someone at school suggested their stuff. She told me about a few crazy products they have that seem bonkers, but fun. Personally I want the Pan Galactic Garble Blasters because I love the Hitchhiker's thing. But of course this stuff would be stocking stuffers for my wife. There's a lot to choose from. Anyone buy from them? If you have do you know if they ship fast to the US or am I better off braving the store?

I'd go to the store and let LUSH tell YOU what to buy. Your wife will be so happy! Their products are truly luxurious.

I love a lot of their products. One of my favorites is the cuticule butter!

I recently splurged and bought some of their products. I'm loving their toner and face cream, but I REALLY love their Charity Pot lotion. It is, by far, the best I've ever used on my itchy, dry winter skin!

Years ago, I used a lot of their products. Unfortunately, my favorites were discontinued long ago...If they ever bring back Sweet Japanese Girl facial cleanser or Silky Underwear solid perfume, I'm so there!

h0kie, that's exactly what I was going to say!

Hifi,
#1. Follow your nose.
#2. Bring a wad of cash.

It's a "splashy" store with a memorable scent. My DIL loves their products. I'm usually overwhelmed but I have a list of the specific things she likes there.

You must have been AWOL when the Lush thread happened.

Bath bombs are awesome if your wife takes baths...just get an assortment.

Their soaps are divine.

I know nothing about their facial products.

Iím pissed they discontinued Flying Fox scent. Heavy on Jasmine. The story I was told was the factory had come up with new scent. Someone asked a women what they should name it. Apparently she was super busy and said ďI donít give a flying fox what you call it.Ē

I also love the Charity Pot, the bath bombs, and the shampoo & conditioner bars. Mrs. Hifi will love whatever you choose her.

Honey I washed the kids -- soap.

I like the bubble bars because they are multi-uses.. you cut a piece and use it for the bath. With the bath bombs it's harder to cut them (although it is possible and I sometimes do) and they are meant to be used whole in a bath.

Since we're on this topic, maybe I should try them again (but probably not) because a couple of times in the past, I tried a couple of things and just wasn't impressed (didn't see any difference/improvement). I tried their:

Herbalism mainly - eh!

Superbalm hair treatment - eh!

A body jelly which I really didn't like and returned

sleepy lotion. I kept reading reviews on it and it is SO nice. I don't know if it's the placebo effect, but it helps me relax at bedtime when I put it on!

I use this so I donít have to wash my hair every single day.

I love this because the smell makes me happy.

I second the sleepy lotion! It's a beautiful lavender scent. I also like the coconut hand scrub. They will hook you up with samples that are actually HUGE amounts. I had a sample of the above that lasted me two weeks. I used them sparingly but she really won't need a lot. So get Mrs. Hifiman some awesome stuff and then ask for samples for some lotions or scrubs that she might like and she can always go back for more later.

I went to the store today. Really overwhelming. I had no idea what the hell I was looking at. There was a young guy helping me out. I wish I knew about the samples while I was there. I would have grabbed them.

I'm really surprised so many people here know of this place. It's not my thing but I feel like I might somehow know it existed before a few days ago. And the store is fun but crazy different. Really, who goes in places like that that don't sell candy?

I just spent a fortune there. The preteen LOVES anything and everything they sell. DS loves the bath bombs (seriously--he loves the bubbling and fizzing around his "parts") and little DD loves the bubble bars.
