43 minutes.

The previous thread was driving me crazy, so now I’m ahead on wash.

How long does it take your washing machine for 1 medium load?

Mine has a digital display that tells how many minutes are left. For a basic medium load it is 52 minutes. I have a quick wash cycle that is 32 minutes but I rarely use that.

What's a medium load?
We only have "as much as will fit and still get clean" around here
The time usually says around 1:25, but it adjusts the time as it runs (usually longer)

I have stackables so I can only do small loads. However the nice part is that to wash a load takes only 15 minutes and then about 25 to dry. So in 40 minutes I'm done with laundry. Add 10 minutes to fold and put away I'm done in less that an hour.

41 minutes. If I do a load on hot water, extra deep cleaning, with a second rinse it's 72 minutes. There's an express wash that's 32 minutes.

We have an old washer and dryer. The wash is 25 minutes, the dry is 35-40. It drives me bonkers when I'm at my parents and it takes two hours to wash and dry one load!

A regular load is 56-60 minutes depending on the water temperature. The quick wash cycle is 36 minutes. Itís a lot longer than my old machine, but now my clothes donít take as long to dry so it evens out.

Mine is digital so I know. Normal load is 50 to wash, 40 to dry.

Interesting question! I believe my washer takes less than 30 minutes to wash a load. It is an older, basic model. Our dryer, which is only a year or two old, takes about 50 - 60 minutes to properly dry a load, while our older dryer took about 40. I wonder why the newer equipment takes longer to work?

My old machine (top load super capacity Maytag with agitator) washed a load in 12 to 18 minutes.

My new machine (top load super capacity Samsung with no agitator) washes a regular load in 43 minutes.

Tonight I washed a load of dog laundry. It gets deep fill, soak, and heavy duty settings. It took 1 hour and 53 minutes! I have to set Alexa to remind me to switch laundry to the dryer. I could remember for 12 to 18 minutes. Almost two hours? Forget it.

My washer takes too much time
Old 08-25-2019, 05:39 AM

My washer doesnít allow me to indicate the size of the load such as ďmediumĒ. I think the machine asses the size by weight. When I select cotton, bulky, permanent press, towels, delicate, etc. the time changes. My washer typically takes over an hour but often itís 90+ minutes because I add a soak cycle. Itís new but it takes forever!

I just timed a loadó it was a large one. It took about 35 minutes. I canít set the size of a load- I believe the machine senses that. My machine does have an agitator.

Then it tells you how much time is left. It always takes longer than that. There is a quick wash that is about 30 minutes. It takes about 40 minutes to dry a load.
