Good thoughts please.

I have always had low normal blood pressure. All of a sudden it's sky high. Been to ER twice. Called on call doc last night. Doing absolutely nothing today. Hoping I can get through the weekend and go back to doctor Monday.
Just need good thoughts until then so I get through this. It's just so scary to me because I've never had a problem before.

Hope doing nothing today helps and that you get answers when you see your doctor next week. Take care.

for caring and taking time to respond. I talked to the on call person again today and I'm supposed to try Melatonin tonight to help me sleep and hopefully turn off the continuous reel of thoughts so my stress level won't be so high.

I will go to doctor Monday. Hopefully your good thoughts will get me through the weekend.

I hope you can get an accurate diagnosis and good plan to handle it. My daughter had issues with her blood pressure at times, and she was so scared. The doctors kept looking for cardiac problems. It wasn't until she developed a bleeding ulcer that she was diagnosed as severely anemic. People who have low hemoglobin tend to have higher systolic blood pressure. This may not be your situation, just saying high blood pressure isn't always cardiac and for you to insist your doctor pinpoints the problem.

It sounds like you may have a lot of stress. Maybe they help you get that under control and it will help with your BP. I do hope they are able to get to the bottom of it and it returns to normal soon!

I'm so sorry, that is really stress-inducing (which doesn't help your blood pressure). Don't be afraid to go to the hospital again if you need to! Thinking of you and sending ~~~low bp~~~ vibes to you.

(sending some to you, too, barb- - I'm sorry you both have to wait a few more days to be seen)
