Do you have one in your classroom? If so, ask if you can bring it home? We were able to.

If not, IPevo cameras are typically affordable and easy to use.

I found mine for $100 on Amazon. USB, so plugs right into my laptop. Easy peasy software to download. I use it while reading aloud with my kids online. The brand is Iswan (not a known name, but honestly, this was the best virtual learning tool I bought!).

Thank you for your feedback! I'm searching in case I'm not allowed to bring home the classroom Elmo. They are letting us use school iPads for distance learning.

I use my own laptop, and I bought the cheapest Ipevo ($99). With the software download, it worked great. Rather than using it as another camera in Microsoft Teams meetings, I use the software and share my screen.

I tried bringing my doc cam home (okayed by district), but it only has vga out (not compatible with my laptop). My school laptop is really old, and it was too much of a pain to work with.

Yes, there are iPad tweaks, and if you want to go with a free option, they work. However, the $99 bucks was definitely worth my lessened stress.
