I wonder if anyone would share thoughts, feelings, experiences with the BRIDGES program for Title I. I have not heard of it before.

I have not heard of this program. Did you check the What Works Clearinghouse and see if there is any information there?

Thanks for replying, LaVerne. I'm researching what's being used in the district where I've applied, and thought I'd try to go in knowing as much as I can.

I've used some of their materials to supplement my math program. I like their stuff--very hands on, thought provoking for kids.

I used Bridges when I student taught, and then as supplemental materials for my students last year. I really enjoyed the program.

I should have been clearer, it's a reading specialist position I have applied for. I found a reference to a Bridges program from Australia, haven't found more info on it though.

Sorry about the math reference then. That's the only Bridges program I know about.
