Request Letters

Clip to ScrapBook #1

My students have to do a letter of request in writing. I am thinking of doing companies and have heard of other teachers who have done this and sometimes they send in a little freebie with the return letter. I would like to compile a list of these companies ~anyone ever have luck with a company?

You will probably have to look at several sites and compile your own list.
Good luck.

Colleges

I did letters of requests using colleges. Students selected colleges in which to write, just simply requesting information. A few of the schools were really fun and along with the information, sent tshirts, pennants, and other paraphanalia. Most schools just sent a pencil or keychain. A few schools sent their 'general reply' letter.

When we received the information, the kids used it to write an informational report.

The kids LOVED this project!
