I've seen a couple people post about MobyMax and FrontRow for math, but I need some reading websites for my students. I've used NewsELA and Into The Book, but would like some more on level with STAAR. I teach 5th grade. Thanks in advance!

Thinkcerca is a good one. Readworks now has an online component also.

MobyMax has reading components too. You can use the free section to test it out. Study Island ( which I believe is expensive) also has reading.

Epic is free to teachers using their school email.

also has an ELA component. I did a free trial and liked the reports. The students don't seem to love it.

My kids like Epic and MobyMax.

I used ReadTheory.org. Leveled reading passages with quizzes that follow. Quizzes allow them to go back and forth between the quiz and the text. It automatically leveled the passages after they take the quiz. I gave the reading specialist at school the website and she was using it at school.

Check it out.

Does the website require the student to use a password or can they just get in?

I love NewsELA it is a website and you can sign your kids up so the data can be tracked if they do the reading and quizzes online or you can print the articles. Read works is great as someone else mentioned so is K 12

Try www.getepic.com. The teacher account is FREE and the kids absolutely LOVE it!
