I definitely prefer #1.

The #2 bedspread is wild and distracts from the picture over the bed.

Goes with an abundance of decor. That way you could change out pillows, sheets etc. . . if you want .

Im the odd one out because I like #2. It reminds me of a tropical island and the color of the ocean. The colors in it also complement the pic over the small bench. So why not get both and trade out?

Oh you guys are making me sooooooo happy (except for the ďabundance of decorĒ commentóis there really a profusion or very large quantity of decorative items? I donít want that. Is there too much? It seems serene to me and my friends.)

Backstory: I started with the blue ferns. I still love them, but I didnít love the duvet (this is my spring/summer lookóI have a navy quilt I love for fall/winter). So I got the light blue quilt most of you voted for (THANK YOU!) but my opinionated daughter told me it looks like a grandma quilt (I am a grandma, but it wasnít a compliment).

I canít tell you how much I appreciate your comments.

I think the abundance of decor meant that you could change things out and it would look good with other decor. (as stated by PP)

I also like #1 and think the "abundance of decor" comment was meant to mean it could go with other colors, styles, etc. I didn't take it to mean that there is too much decor in pictures, because I sure don't see that.

I like #1 because it looks so peaceful. I think I might add the dark blue pillow from #2 to #1 though. That would tie it in even more with pic above the bed. Beautiful room, beautiful view!

#1 - it keeps the focus on that beautiful painting.

I saw a rug at Ikea yesterday that would be so beautiful in your home! It was inspired by water.

I like #1 because it looks softer and more comfy like a bedroom should look like. I think personally that I'd add some soft greenish tones. I like a lot of color. My bedroom is soft green and pale gray and white. I added a deep blue blanket to the foot of my bed and am buying a pine green pillow as soon as I find the right one. But that's me. I'm envious of your blanket in #1. Where did you find it?

I like them both, but I feel #1 goes seamlessly with the room decor!

I also feel it would be easier to change things up in the room with the first one.

The second one seems to be more of a "theme". I like to change decor around quite a bit, so I would feel a little pigeon holed with the second one.

# 1. It's peaceful and serene. I really like your dresser and chest. I'm looking to replace mine soon - where did you get them?

Could the printed pillows from #2 be used to give #1 a splash of vibrancy? I'm not very good at mixing and matching so I don't know if that would work.
