Donating clothes?

Hello all!

My mother passed away and Iím planning on donating her clothes and she had a LARGE amount of shoes. When donating, would you keep the shoes in their original boxes or just bag all the shoes up together in one bag?

It might depend on where you donate them, but I would keep them in the boxes. That would help whoever is checking them in make sure the pairs were togehter without sorting through a bag of shoes!

Sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I agree with Kahlua, keep the shoes in their boxes. Some higher end thrift stores display them that way.

You are amazing for thinking of donating your mom's things.
I would keep them together as the others have said.

When my mom passed away we donated all of her towels and bankets to the animal shelter. They were labled with her names since she was in assisted living and my sister and I did not want them. However, we didn't want to just toss them.
