… it was the same amount of commercials, but it seemed like more.

Did the same same actress play Deja as in previous episodes?

DH and I mentioned this as we watched it. We don’t think it was but she sure sounded like her.

I think it had the same commercials- few in the beginning of the show and more towards the end.

I loved that they did the Big 3 cheer. How amazing and wonderful to celebrate the show! A simple finale showing life is about little moments in life and to live fearlessly.

I didn't notice about the commercials because normally I record it to watch it later - and skip all the commercials! I didn't want to do that with the final episode, so any amount of commercials were a lot.

I'm going to miss the family, but I thought they did a good job of tying it all together and ending the way they did.

It was so good!! And so heart wrenching, but definitely not as sad as last week! I loved it last night. Fixing to watch it again on hulu.

I just watched it on Hulu. It was a different actress playing Deja, but apparently there was quite a bit of talk on how closely the two actresses resembled one another.

It was a peaceful float of an ending, but it felt a little anticlimactic. Maybe a good thing and purposeful, given the nature of the series. I don't know if I feel like I have closure or not, though. Don't I remember something about Randall and his wife no longer being together? I will admit I don't always pay 100% attention to the episodes, but that felt odd to me.

I think people speculated that based on the first flash forward they did a few years ago. I remember wondering that myself. So glad it wasn't true! Editing can do a lot to lead you astray, but it also keeps you watching.

Thank you, Susan Teach for clearing that up. If you don’t watch carefully or missed some episodes, it may be confusing.
Yes, Randal and Beth are still together. I remember Beth saying, “I found a door.” meaning a solution to their problem.

Wanted to add- loved Toby asking, “You can say it. You like me better than Philip, don’t you?” It was a light moment and I needed to laugh.

After the events of this week I had put off watching the finale until today. I just couldn’t take more tears. I felt last weeks episode was better. This episode was sweet, but definitely did not stir the emotion of last week.
On a side note…I have always loved Randall and Beth, but I felt this season brought out the best in them. I felt the acting was some of their best.
