I am moving to a school district next year that uses Bridges math curriculum. I looked through unit 1 and I am a bit overwhelmed. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

One day at a time. The first year of it is VERY overwhelming. We are starting our 3rd year and we love it. The students are growing by leaps & bounds. Bridges is the main math with Number Corner being a separate 20-30 minute component that helps to reinforce or introduce math skills. I seriously was reading the lesson the night before and the morning of to try to grasp it all. Don't feel you have to do everything that is scripted. Let your students guide you.

Module 4 (in all the units, I believe) covers material that is not on the pre/post test. During our first year with the program, we didn't even try to get to the 4th Module. Now, we teach it only if there's "extra time."
