Interview with the superintendent

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I just had an interview yesterday and at the end they said they are going to still interview next week and that Id hear either way next week. Then, 6 hours after the interview they called and told me that theyd like me to interview with the superintendent and gave me the time to come in. They said not to bring anything because they have everything in the electronic application. Im assuming with having only one other interview with them that Im not the only candidate interviewing with the superintendent. What should I expect?

From my experience, the superintendent usually only interviews the finalists - that could be 2-3 from what I've seen. This is a great sign for you - and I hope it fares well!

I also think it's a great sign! Good luck- hopefully it's your "welcome, here's your salary" meeting. Let us know what happens, and welcome to pt!

Are there any certain questions I should be prepared for?

In my experience, meeting with the superintendent means they want to offer you the job.
Mine went through my transcripts and offered a salary based on that and my experience.
Then I signed the contract with the superintendent. They tell you the board needs to approve it officially too. Its dependent on the outcome of the background check too.
