Trader Joe’s complaint

I made an early run to Trader Joe’s for Christmas stuff over a week ago. I went this morning to stock up and they were out of almost everything I wanted. Bummer.

Thank goodness I already got 4 boxes of Pistachio Pomegranate Crisps (okay fine, 3 are left). I wonder if I could sell them on the black market.

I've never been to a Trader Joe's. The closest one is over 50 miles from me, and it's a horribly busy road. Usually I go to The Fresh Market every Christmas, but I haven't been this year. It's 50 miles away, too. Kind of stinks being in the middle of nowhere when I need to shop.

I just googled and there isn't a Trader Joe's in my whole state! I guess the nearest one would be about 3 hours away.

Yes, the good stuff goes early there!

I know last year our friend's shared their holiday eggnog - whoa! So delicious and addictive. I'm glad it went fast. This year I look the other way when I get close to the dairy section.

You are right, there are times when I go there and they do not have what I want. Of course, I found that to be true in the grocery section of Target last weekend, as well. Good luck with your black market sales. I bet they go fast!

I went to several craft stores and the ornaments/decorations were all picked over. I guess I should have bought sooner. I have an empty spot on the top of one of my trees.

I went to TJ's this weekend, expecting my favorite cookies to be sold out, but they were not.

Then they also had new treats to try.

So I spent $100.

I went to 3 Trader Joe’s over the last few weeks in search of their “hot cocoa snowmen”. You put the snowmen on top of a warm cup of milk and watch the snowman melt into hot cocoa. All sold out.

TJ complaint

I went to TJ's to stock up on soups to deal with my sore throat. My complaint is that it was awfully hard to get out of the store without giving into the temptation to buy more Christmas treats. I didn't succeed.

I quite like TJ's! Mine is 15 min away. There used to also be one about 30 min away, but it closed up several yrs ago.

Yes, I learned the hard way that seasonal treats sell out early. I wanted to try stuffing flavored potato chips that people were raving about in November and totally missed the boat. Next year, I guess I'll try to check about a month earlier than I think I need to!
