Part of my daughter's Christmas present was to get her hair colored. She is not happy with the color. I told her to call the hairdresser because it's not the color she asked for. She won't call saying there's nothing "wrong", she just doesn't like it. She thinks she will charge $ to fix it. My opinion is that it just needs to be toned and that shouldn't cost anything. Anybody had experience or an opinion? Salons are so expensive already that we don't want to pay anymore but she provided a service and it's not acceptable.

That’s happened to me twice in the past. Both times I called and the stylist fixed it without an additional charge.

Not only is it expensive, but it can make or break how you feel.

Good luck.

I think she should call! The girl that does my hair always tells me that if I donít like it, to just call back and she can fix it. Iíve seen others come back into the salon with other stylists for the same reason. I say itís better to speak up and get it fixed instead of walking around hating it, especially when youíve spent that much money.

Thank you so much for the comments. You have confirmed my thinking. I actually use this same stylist and had to go back once for a different reason and she fixed at no charged. I don't think it's a hard fix and she's open today. Thanks again!!!

Opinion: She won't know if she doesn't call, even if the answer isn't what she wants.

Experience: My stylist will fix anything I don't like, even if it's what I asked for. If it's a real salon and not something like Supercuts, it should be part of the service.

Verdict: Definitely call.
