Iím sitting in the Ford place waiting for my car (thatís another vent) and this guy next to me in the waiting room is having an entire conversation, his job, a sales call he went on, etc.

I donít need to hear all this (and the language and I generally donít mind swearing).

Itís one of my biggest pet peeves!! I hate when people do that. Or they put it on speaker phone. Nobody needs to hear your conversation.

I hate it too. There was a guy at the airport the other day having a lengthy, loud conversation with someone. Seriously? Can you tone down your volume????

I saw the funniest video of a guyís solution to this universal problem. Heíd sit right next to the person and pretend to be talking on his phone, but he was responding to everything the rude person said. Iím not doing him justice, but it was hilarious and the rude person got so confused they hung up.

Iíve done my version of this when out walking and some asshat with earbuds is having a LOUD conversation. I walk right next to them and start talking. Itís kinda fun.

that's where it happens all the time for me. Its usually quiet in there and I always get someone talking on their cell walking around looking at books and trying to solve the world's problems(LOUDLY)

I tend to leave the store or at least take a walk to a different section to get away from them.

Some people are SO disgusting!

A couple months ago we were in Longhorn and the people next to us had an IPAD and were chatting with their daughter who was away at college. They were asking her about her classes, professors and giving her suggestions on how to handle her roommate.....that none of them cared for. They offered to send her money to put into her account (incase she needed it!). They ate and spent the whole meal with her. Meanwhile the rest of us could not enjoy our meals because they were so loud. Our waitress, who was theirs too apologized to us but nothing was said to the couple.

My DH and I either don't take our cell in or we put it on silent. If we do have a call, we leave the restaurant, take the call and then return.

I took my mom to get a MRI. So I am waiting in the waiting area. From before I sat down this ministerís wife (yes, she said this) was talking very loudly on her phone. She was even talking about other people in the church. I could not believe it. She was still talking when I left.

Thanks for posting the link, Ima! I really appreciate links so I can see for myself I think I've seen this before- I am not that brave (sneakily confrontational)-- he got some nice reactions. I'm afraid I'd get beat up
